It has come to my attention that people using the terrain are not putting it up after they are finished. As we are currently in the process of getting new terrain this concerns me, will the new terrain just be left strewn about? Does it take a lot of effort to just PUT the terrain AWAY? Some of the other gamers that play here do not use terrain or care about its condition. Yes, they may be at fault for its damage but if it was put away in the first place would it have been broken?

I agree, it's a rather disappointing sight, when you sit in the store in the evenings and notice the players/people who walk in and throw bags onto tables without a care in the world as to what may actually be on it, those playing finish a game, pack all of their models up painstakingly, and then leave the terrain laying about without a care in the world. Honestly people, do you think the store employees are your mother(s)?
I do agree with you though, while yes, the individual who tossed the backpack did break the terrain piece, would it have even been broken if whoever used it last had taken the time to put it away? I would have to say no, as if it wasn't there, it wouldn't have happened. Also, do you think that those that take the time to make the terrain we use will continue to do so if it is treated as such? After all, it's not like it takes all that long to pick it up, as more than likely, you were the one(s) that got it out to play your game. Be responsible, and pick up after yourself, it's not like it's asking too much.
In closing, as you pack up your little soldiers after a good game, stop and think about this.. You take the time to pack your models up so they don't get broken or chipped, as you took the time to assemble them and maybe even paint them. Well, someone had to make/assemble and paint the terrain you use, why not show it the same respect so that it is available for use by yourself and others time and time again?

You're right. I'm not your mom. I open every Thursday morning and have to spend about an hour picking up after 40K players. People are generally bad about picking up after themselves but 40K night is the worst. I got bins to fit everything, what more do you want!?!

I'm thinking that the worst offenders are not on this board, good time to remind all 40k players to help remind them to pick up after themselves!!!
